Community support

We aim to be a good neighbour to those who live and work near our facilities. We support the local economy and promote food waste recycling awareness and sustainability education. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about our activities.

We aim to be a good neighbour to those who live and work near our facilities.  We always strive for open, honest interaction in our operations, to hear concerns and act appropriately.  We also support the local economy and community wherever we can.

If you have an enquiry about one of our facilities, get in touch via the site email address or Freephone 0800 840 1229 (Mondays to Fridays, 9am – 5pm).

We support the local economy by employing locally and using a wide range of local suppliers wherever possible. We also support a number of local initiatives, usually involving education and sustainability.

We regularly visit schools and community groups to talk about food waste recycling, anaerobic digestion and renewable energy. We have sponsored community football teams and pre-school Easter egg hunts within the communities where we operate, and worked with the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain (PCCGB), to sponsor sustainability and environment books for primary schools located close to our sites.

Please contact us if you are interested in working together to benefit the local community in close proximity to our sites, and have an initiative that involves environmental sustainability, reducing waste or renewable energy.
